Should I wait or should I start?

OK I want to have opinions so here's the question. I'm actually quite a friendly person BUT that's only when I get talked to first. I always tot only those people who take the initiative are actully intertested to have a conversation with you. like for example on msn. i dun talk to others first for fear of receeiving an "entertainment" reply. so how do others actually manage to talk to others so easily?

What do you mean by "entertainment"e" reply? Besides, if you take the initiative to talk, you can tell whether he or she is interested or not by the reply...

ppl like u r quite common, appear antisocial but r actulli jus plain shy/thinking abt other's feelings before ownself's...i'm one of them....lolx... change it.. like above, u'll know their thinking when/if they reply...=) continuing like this will onli make ppl think u r antisocial....

Actually it's normal... U may feel uneasy.... other ppl also feel the same as you... They also worry whether u r friendly... whether u will talk back to them, whether u will like to them also... The thing is that if u and the person keep quiet... then no one talks... If this goes on and on.... someday u may lose ur present friends. Not because you are selfish or anything.... but because they just do not know what to start to talk with you about... maybe if u start a simple conversation, other topics will come in and it will be a nice chat

Attended a tutorial class juz now..
im the odd one out in the whole class.. coz they already know each other since last semester or earlier..
feel so unhappy inside..none of them actually welcome me or watever.. except one guy beside me keep asking me abt the tutorial etc.. really feel lousy leh.. v unfriendly. notice they like to talk to the pple beside them only, even if they are in a group...most of the times bz playing with their lappy.
i suay suay kena put into a guys' group.. really nth to talk abt. haiz. -
