For the sake of everyone ^^,
i was pointing at lasting. haha...Originally posted by Yunhaier:What is a long lasting relationship?
It could be any relationship lengthy enough to consider long. And seriously, that depends on different individual. Some people think 1-2 years is considered long enough, IMHO, that is still fringin` short. So the 'length' differs from people to people.

However, a long, lasting relationship doesn't mean fulfilling relationship.
One can have a tormenting relationship that is long lasting.
Similarly, one can have a fulfilling relationship that is short-lived.

He's telling you no point to make it last if it's not fulfilling...Originally posted by Sekundes:i was pointing at lasting. haha...

There are things that last forever.
Very well said. I completely agree with u man.. A relationship can only grow when there is constant positive contribution from both parties. And its the acceptance and adjusting of one's self to suit the lifestyles of each other.Originally posted by babyreyes:Maintaining a long r/s....yea..its tough........its tough but it can be done......
to me...a relationship is like planing a little plant to a strong tree....yea..or u can say gardening...
both of u started with a little love seed in ur heart.......when u are together....both of u grow hte love seed together into a plant.....
when u put the plant into the wrong pot..the plant will not grow properly n well....
too much water...the plant will die...
tooo much sunshine...the plant will die..
lack of vitamins..the plant will fall sick...
when the plant grew older...u think its ok to leave it on its own....the plant start to wither...
It takes a lot from the two of u to really grow from a seed to a strong tree iwth fruits...
sometimes u boht work very hard..but the plant didnt grow at all....some ingredients are overlooked at...sometimes wat u think its missing is not..sometimes wat u think it should work..didnt work...
even diamond turns to lead in the end.. try focusing on something realistic like a lifetime would be better.Originally posted by Sekundes:Come on guys, rarely seen

Forever, a broad term.Originally posted by Devil1976:Defines 'Forever'?
'Butterfly Theory' defies 'Forever'....
If a relationship fail to last, it must has its own valid reason(s) for that... Why defy nature?
True, like a life time.Originally posted by Ito_^:even diamond turns to lead in the end.. try focusing on something realistic like a lifetime would be better.
accept every flaw your partner has and your partner should do the same or else the relationship will not lastOriginally posted by Sekundes:Is a long lasting relationship,
