marriage is definitely a long term r/s. i define long term r/s as one where both parties are truly sincere in staying together through thick and thin, no matter what comes. quarrel also must patch up. cannot easily say break up then break up.

What is a long lasting relationship?
It could be any relationship lengthy enough to consider long. And seriously, that depends on different individual. Some people think 1-2 years is considered long enough, IMHO, that is still fringin` short. So the 'length' differs from people to people.

However, a long, lasting relationship doesn't mean fulfilling relationship.
One can have a tormenting relationship that is long lasting.
Similarly, one can have a fulfilling relationship that is short-lived.

Maintaining a long r/s....yea..its tough........its tough but it can be done......
to me...a relationship is like planing a little plant to a strong tree....yea..or u can say gardening...
both of u started with a little love seed in ur heart.......when u are together....both of u grow hte love seed together into a plant.....
when u put the plant into the wrong pot..the plant will not grow properly n well....
too much water...the plant will die...
tooo much sunshine...the plant will die..
lack of vitamins..the plant will fall sick...
when the plant grew older...u think its ok to leave it on its own....the plant start to wither...
It takes a lot from the two of u to really grow from a seed to a strong tree iwth fruits...
sometimes u boht work very hard..but the plant didnt grow at all....some ingredients are overlooked at...sometimes wat u think its missing is not..sometimes wat u think it should work..didnt work... -

Failures... Sometimes because of inability... Incapability... Sometimes not really that... Sometimes you could have done something about it, but it's just failure to see... Sometimes other people or other factors come into the way... If your relationship doesn't have a good foundation or you're not good enough in handling, it STRIKES OUT... Sometimes you know what you should have done, but you didn't do it... Instead you just cry over spilled milk....
Whatever it is, in my opinion.. Under Newtonian's Cause and effects... It HAPPENED OFTEN because it has to happen... Other times no point asking why... Cause it's almost the same as asking why you're a boy and not a girl? Or why you have one nose and not 3? -
