  Am a Hepatitis C patient (type 1a) who recently completed 12 months of treatment. Had a RNA QL test after the third month and it was negative and was allowed to continue. Subsequent tests in every month shows that liver enzymes has gone back to normal.
  
  Went for a recent RNA QL test becoz it is the end of the treatment and results come back positive. Believe this shows that I am a non responder.
  
  Any advice for further treatment? Was on Pegintron/ribavarin for twelve months.

  i agree too.. even doctors specialise in different fields~ a GP might not be able to give u a very deatailed explanation..

  Accept that the virus cannot be eliminated.
  Take good care of your health. Lotsa Vitamin C. Avoid raw sea food, don't stress your liver with alcohol, etc.
  You are already receiveing good treatment, follow up on it.
  Nothing to worry about, you'll live a normal life.
