Can anyone tell me, the best way to learn from one's mistake is to fall?? TO make mistake?? To be hurt??

U r rite in certain ways ........ humans will never learn from others mistakes. Only when they fall and get hurt themselves will they remember the mistakes, and not to make it again. Of cos, eventually, after all the hurt and pain, he/she will eventually be a stronger person.

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger... but... I guess, the best way to learn is not to always fall. But rather instead to listen. Open your ears wide. Listen to other's fault and learn from them.

sort of la. sometimes, when u experience a fall urself, the lesson is clearer, and closer to heart. u'll remember it better (i think) but, think of it this way, life is so short, too short to let u make all the mistakes urself. like wat Dragonlance said, listen. learn from other people's experiences too. there are just too many lessons to be learnt to keep falling n hurting urself. if u do insist on falling n hurting urself each time, den by the time ur timeline ends, u'd most prolly have achieved very little, and is full of scars (not physically la) from falling so many times.

Learning from other pple is indeed a better way... but for humans.. we seldom learn from other pple.. For instance, we haf been told not to touch the kettle when it's boiling water... but still there are pple who do that...
However, falling doesn't mean that one will learn too.. It's not necessary a bad thing.. doesn't mean that it's a mistake too.. Take it as a new chapter in the textbooks. For example, Edison didn't take his failures in inventing the light bulb as a failure, but as something that he has learnt... He learnt that his hair cannot light up and neither does it conduct electricity...
