I was wondering if anyone would have any advice for me. I am planning a holiday this summer with a friend of mine who lives in KL. Due to lack of availability of flights I have to spend about 2 weeks on my own in Singapore first. I was wondering if anyone has any good advice as to where the best places are to meet new people in Singapore etc. to make my stay more interesting. Thankyou

You can visit famous tourist spots such as the zoo, the birdpark , Night Safari & Sentosa (which is a offshore island) ~
Shopping-wise, Orchard Road is a good choice~
& for night life, you may want to try Holland Village ~
2 weeks is more than sufficient to explore this island of ours !
Just some suggestions...can't think of much at this time...
