Age for driving lesson?

how ya all doing?
hey guys..do u know the age for driving lessons?
18 or 21?
i'm not sure bout tat...
and its kinda far to go to the driving centre just to ask, so i might as well ask here!

the age to start learning is 18.
u have to past ur basic theory before u can get ur PDL to learn to drive on the road. the basic theory last forever.
After that u can either start to learn to drive and take ur advance theory together at the same time. alternatively u can take ur advance first then learn to drive. the advance theory last for 2 yrs, which means u have to pass ur practical within 2 yrs if not u will have to re-take ur advance againz.
The fees if u were to take in the sch is abt $1600+. That includes 25 lessons, but excluding theory lessons. any more u will have to pay extra. u will be taking extra lessons after that coz u can only book a practical test date after the 25th lesson and the test date will be abt less 2 mths away. but as driving needs constant practice so u just have to pay for the extra lessons lorz.
If u were to take private, u just have to spend abt $800-$1000 but the test dates will be further away lahz..

but i'm still kinda confused...i'm 18 tis yr u see...but i heard alot of ppl say age 21 then can apply for driving lessons...

So that means private ones are cheaper than the the.. the.. BBDC and stuff? cuz i've always tot BBDC to be cheaper.. lol.. anyway.. erm.. anyone gonna introduce any good private instructors? =)

No lahz... BBDC more expensive than private instructors. and it's a lot more ex lorz. The only benefit that u get in BBDC and other sch is that u get ur test date faster than the pple outside. that means if u happen to fail the first time, u can apply again even faster than someone who had a private insructor.Originally posted by keyi:So that means private ones are cheaper than the the.. the.. Wat I mean by basic theory last forever means it has no validity date.. let's say u took it in 2001, u can still produce it and take ur advance theory in yr 2020. But for advance, u have only 2 yrs to pass ur practical test.
