Where is the REAL MAN?

Hi,
Help! What does a real man means? This is absolutely confusing when a girl says she wants a "real" man? Is it character? Or inner strength or a solid body?
This is funny too, i say "want someone simple". The guys whom i speak to will nod their head in agreement, but the girls will look at dazed and confused. -

Real man not easy to be.. as for wat i think, u must be intelligent, man-ly as in like a hunk.. since looks cannot be altered unless surgery, i think ur behavior shd be extreme gentlemanly to make up if u not yandao.. then hor, education level or rather u must be knowlegable.. so u see, it's not easy to be a real man!!!!

If you want to define a real man, it should be:
1) Pleasant Personality
2) Maturity
3) Gentleman
Anything else is a bonus ( ie. car, money, yandao look )

I think a real man must be truthful to himself and to others.
remaining true to his ownself and not be a person without backbone.
to deal with rotten people and close friends in a proper way. to know what love and compassion is.
gets the job done and not whine about silly things. to be a pillar for everyone to see. remain strong when his heart has been broken and shattered to pieces.
to smile in the face of adversity and remain positive that these things shall pass.
to have a strong faith in himself.
to be confident of his ability but not brag about them. to see people for what they are.... i think i go write my own list. too bad, you have to discover for yourselves. :p -

i'm talking about character building not about being true to one's original character. part of it is but mostly not. it's how you measure up to a set of ideals NOT having the standards lowered to fit one's personality. -
