help..i feel depressed..

hey.. its like tis..i'm abt to on a oversea trip..actually it should be a joyful event
1..but none of my friends are goin..and i'm not very close to the ppl
goin..whenever i'm thinkin of the trip is nearing..i felt so much pressure and
stress..i really dun wan to go already but i've paid for it..i really need some help
on how to counter tis weird problem of mine be4 i fell into deep depression..haiz.. -
Don't worry about it, you will come back anyway, it isn't like as if you are going there forever and never coming back. Besides, I think you are just nervous. You will make more new friends.

Yeah.. Don't worry man.. Just take it as an opportunity to make more new friends. You can never have "too many friends".
Instead of being depressed think about the better things! You might find a great buddy during the trip man! Try to mix into the group. If you are even moderate at social interacting skills then you shd have no problem at all in mingling with this new group.
Always think positive man.. Who knows.. U might find a pretty gal who is special in to u! (if u don't already have a gf that is..)
Oh ya. Don't remain quite and all holed up in one corner during the trip. Just get out there and join them in all their discussions and jokes and everything. Soon you will be accepted into the group... There are bound to be very friendly persons who are good in talking to strangers in the group. They will help you along the way automatically to mingle into the group..
Well just my thoughts.. Always think optimistically man! =) Thats the best advice I can give.. (",) -
yup, take this time to make new friends...cuz you cannot also be with your same click of friends forever right?
you need to enlarge your social circles, like friends from work, old time school friends, friends who like adventuring, neighbour basketball friends, etc...
so could turn out to be good, remember when you go with the new people, try to be open-minded, join in the fun with them, dont say i cannot do this or do that, also try to blend in, not force your idea to them, etc....hope you will have a wonderful trip.
Yah...dont bring super large luggage, bring just enough, bring enough money, and bring camera to take photos let us see.

relax man... jux enjoy the holiday and trip... when you are working like us it's hard to get a rest not to mention holiday....
jux take it easy.... like they all say get to know more friends...
it's a great way to enlarge ur social circle... no need to purposely expect smething though -
when u go to the trips, u might meet more friends...
and one or two might be even better than the current frens u had...
treat it as a trip to explore n make new frens...
early bon voyage to u, enjoy ur trips ... -
you might end up enjoying so much you dont want to come back.

i dont think you actually can go on a trip WANTING to make friends
it is more the meeting new people that intimidates the hell out of you
Whatever your trip is about, maybe you can treat it like a personal journey
bring a book, bring a diary, blog it somewhere, write about your observations of people, places, incidents that happen
Don't feel that you MUST be obliged to socialise
if you don't feel like it, well, just don't
It is enough to be quiet, polite, with a friendly smile
slowly during the trip, you will meet one or two alike souls
who are like you, may not enjoy socialising all that much
and trying too hard to be friendly
and there, perhaps you will find a cosier niche and enjoy your trip amongst like minded folks. -

convince my mind tat it will go past very soon? hmmm... -
believe me, once your there, time flys very fast.
cuz everyday got things to do, walk and walk see and see, etc...then come back hotel tired, play card games, watch tv, etc, then sleep loh... -
