I'm going for my operation next week and am pretty anxious and worried about it. As I'm only 16 this year, I've never encountered such things. I've fears of operation failing or I fail to recover from the operation. Seen a doctor at IMH regarding it and given medication. Any experts here to give advice ?
Operation is to remove a tumour growth near my intestine which is causing bleeding and requiring me to have weekly transfusion in the hospital.
I think it would be more appropriate for you to arrange for counselling sessions with the professionals..? Try to make the appropriate arrangements with your hospital and they should attend to your needs...
For now, I can only ADVISE you to be STRONG... For the chance of SURVIVING or having a SUCCESSFUL OPERATION is somehow rather not too much determined by you... But the part you can play for it to go ITS BEST is to be STRONG and POSITIVE about it... Talk to your surgeon.. Have CONFIDENCE in him / her so that they can have CONFIDENCE in HANDLING YOU...

ALL THE BEST! Hope to hear from you again after your OPS!
