What to do?

Sometimes, i really wonder if I am in a wrong class... Maybe u can probably say that I have not adapted to the life.
When I was in sec sch, sch used to be interesting. I have a friend who we could talk anything under sun. Its not gossip, but more on general knowledge. I mean, we could easily talk for hrs whatever came out of the headlines, most of the time, we had different POV on issues, that made sure boring lessons past really fast. We could also turn to our usual topic on military, he focused more on aircrafts and guns, while I focused on aircrafts and naval vessels. Well, i was quite interested in cars but he wasn't, so i tried to introduce him to cars too.
After O's, we took different routes, he went to poly and i went to JC. Then life began seriously boring, no one in my cls shared the same interest as me. That probably could be understandable, but when i tried to engaged them in current affairs... their next setence is, "ok, we understand, tt's enough" So my clsmates can ask some ?????? qns such as "What is SAR (when they saw Hong Kong SAR)?" and "what's G-7?"
Aside from tt, i usually crack some lame jokes for entertainment, but my clsmates didn't like tt, so i tried not to talk alot. But then, i am not used to being quiet, and that it's unhealthy not to talk for 1 whole day. Is a way i can interact in sch ?? -
jc ppl focus more on studies.. unless u noe them since sec sch.. or it's quite hard to become frenz.. i oso having prob even in poly.. cos my class oso quite study type..

u can start by trying to be yourself...make a few close frens first...other things come naturally...
you have to understand...people at different stages of their life face different types of people...jc people are one of them...so try to accept them for who they are...no choice...who ask u join jc? -
JC not really there for u to make friends..just get on with the darn 2 years..
and i find it hard to believe that not even one can mingle well with u..i mean whoever said that friends needed to share the same interest? -
i think my fren changed a lot ever since she went into JC.
we are drifting further and further apart.
i wonder why.. -
eh maybe u really haben adapted to ur present life bah..
i guess maybe u should open up more?
in my case, i was a shy person who refuse to talk no matter to the lecturer or classmate.. then after 1 week socialising with them, i can talk sh|t to them and they dun mind.. well first u must have confidence to speak to them... confirm there are people out there who share ur views..

Join a group CCA like choir, band, basketball etc, then can make more friends

Maybe i post this problem too late. BUt friends with same interests can talk more what ... If not very little things to talk, unless, u willing to listen what the other person interests ...

Errm, it's better to have 1 best friend then have 5 good friends?

JC should be easy to make friends leh,when u get into U then u know,it one subject one class LOL.Anyway try joining some ECA or izzit CCA now ,whatever,to widen your social circle loh.
If interest different then try to get into the group loh,whether u understand what they say or not just smile will be gd enough loh and try to talk abt studies loh,it should be a common topic right -
Like gossip and Dota ??? lol
