Spanish, not common in SG.. More in Philipines I thinkOriginally posted by Bates:salsa is origin from where? is it more relax? and more common in ASIA?
need ample space as well.Originally posted by viciouskitty74:Salsa is one part of the Latino dances.
Salsa is popular more because of its easy steps and fast daring routines. Easier to dance to any beat at most pubs, discos & anywhere with fast music.
Think Shakira, Ricky Martin & some canto techno. Even Mambo No.5 once you got the beat.
You know the Macarena? Similiar origins but quite more of a different moves. Macarena is co-ordinated while Salsa is more fun and unexpected dancing with a partner.
Try the Salsa dancing with some reputable dance studios like Jitterbugs, Attitude Dance Studio and some more. Avoid the Cummnity Centres if you can.
BTW, students or NS boys has discount rates for classes.
Not really. Like Close Body Combat. The spaces within a lift is more then enough to execute a full ranges of dance moves.Originally posted by M©+square:need ample space as well.![]()
Which life are you referring to?Originally posted by viciouskitty74:Not really. Like Close Body Combat. The spaces within a lift is more then enough to execute a full ranges of dance moves.
Which kind of close body combat you trained for? Or you merely incapcitate whoever in a lift everytime you are in a lift just by entering one???Originally posted by M©+square:Which life are you referring to?
HDB? or Cargo lift?
Cheers
Well both parties arms are extended fully...it's definitely not a stunt to pull off in a Lift in HDB flat.Originally posted by viciouskitty74:Which kind of close body combat you trained for? Or you merely incapcitate whoever in a lift everytime you are in a lift just by entering one???![]()

.........haha...to extend fully is one thing....to dance in that space. Hmm...Originally posted by viciouskitty74:Arggghhhhh......the innocence of the inexperienced...
A 1.85 metre guy, with 23 inches wide shoulders and dunno how long his arm span can do it in a HDB lift, I dont see why not.![]()
