Surviving in a hectic environment

How do you survive in a hectic environment where there are people around who tried to flame you, backstabb you and finding troubles for you?
I am in NS now and sadly there are a number of people who are finding trouble with me and I would like to know how to counter those people when I work after I ORD. -
are these Regulars or NSFs?

im encountering excactly the same problem as u few months back. in this stupid world , u MUST learn how to act along with those balls-carrier. u must also try to make friends with them. if not , backstabs n unfair treatment will always fall on u. sad , but true. now im one happy actor. 9 more months to ord!

U jus have to bear wif it or should I say... get used to it... cos there's a whole of ppl of the same kind mentioned by u out there in the real world...
Jus have to be casual frens wif them, dont really have to act too much but have to put on diff masks when dealng wif diff ppl...
Its quite sad lah... cos I hate to wear a mask in life... but sometimes... its not up to us...
