Divorce process.

  Hi,
  
  can anyone tell me how long is the whole process of divorce takes? Me and my ex had signed the Deed of separation and now it is already three years. I had engaged a lawyer but it seems to me that they are not professional enough. They dun really tell you at what stage are you now and what you are going to do next. They can only tell me my case already in court. Just need to wait.
  
  Can anyone pls shed some lights?

  but have u settled the alimony and the property thing? kind of touchy issues arent them??...

  Sometimes it depends on your lawyer also. You may wish to seek another opinion, or ask your friends whether they know other lawyers.

  You'll have to wait for the court to make the next move... For them to summon both of ya...
  
  Meanwhile, take some time to look into the matters that Darknessfall has mentioned... Have you spoke to your lawyer regarding those matters yet..? If not, it should be about time that you do...

  If your sep deed is non-contestable you can straight go ahead & proceed to file the decree nici(Divorce papers) which will take up to a time frame of 3-6months.
  
  if contested then good luck it can drag for years depending on terms like alimony, maintenance, house, assets etc etc....
