hey i need advice on whether to choose nus or ntu to read chem. currently ntu offers a direct hons programme which is really attractive but still nus seems more established. can anyone give me advice? thx

if ur kiasu, go ntu. if not, go nus.

NTU lor, NUS established don't mean its going to be stamped on your forehead.

really? but..i kind of like nus environment btr n it seems like ntu is quite despo. the prof had to meet every one of us individually to 'sell' the school. he went as far as saying he can guarantee me a direct paid phd programme if i can get 2nd upper at least n wth he said 80% can get 2nd upper. seems a bit far fetched

PHD programmes are being touted all around, even to overseas grad. That one can be said to more or less be true. But wrt 80% getting 2nd upper, questionable.
