very sad, i don't know why is this happening, is it in singapore, i thought all singaporean r ok, but now i felt not really, i lost my handphone twice and once taken by someone, when i call them, they just off my hp and say i am a nuisance. 2nd time, i maybe drop somewhere when i come back it is gone already, so sad. why ppl r not sincere like returning back, no adays no way u can get back yr things if u lost them, it is no sincereity everywhere this world is really full of bad ppl, very sickening, why can'gt they return back things that don't belong to them, what if they take it and the owner cursed them for it, it is bad right, anyway i am so so sad i lost my hp, it drop and someone pick it up and claim it is theirs, and never want to return back, after i called 100 times on my hp and they got the cheek to just off my handphone. so bad people, it is so important and i am poor to get a new one, don't they know that, it caused me so so much trouble, cos they take it and really i am so angry sad and very upset with the world, can't find any good, sincere trust in ppl.i found 3 lost handphone before 3 times, i return back to the owner. now my hp lost, no one return. -
msg back dat u wld pay for the handphone a better price den wad they wld get from shops cuz u no money buy new hp.

Yeah. Lost my HPs too many times before too. Never got any single one of them back. Found HPs and returned to the owners too. My personal advices for you would be...
1. If something is really so important to you, perhaps you should think TWICE about just leaving them around UNATTENDED or even be so careless to LOSE IT
2. Do BACKUPs for your contact numbers in the HP next time... -

cannot guarentee it will work bt worth a try. they oni wan fast cash ma, 2nd hand prices for these kinda phones very low. even if u bring ur phone without charger, etc, ppl will suspect its pick up one and try to cut ur price down. and buying a box, warranty card, etc is just too troublesome. -

but once i found one laptop...manage to return it to the owner's friend in the end...

always treat your handphone like your rifle.
no matter where u r, or wat u r doing, always keep it with u by holding it, slinging it, or putting it in your pocket.
always do 'equipment check' by feeling the spot where the handphone should be every now and then so that if its not, u know where to go to look for it, and not much time passed. -

Nay... I usually would try to return the HP to the owner unless it's really quite impossible... Imagine how many contact numbers and information one could be losing just through a HP alone...? Sell the HP? How much can you earn from it...? On honest fact, I think I would rather be keeping the HP for myself than to sell it 2nd hand... But since I've never had the habit of owning more than 1 HP at a time.. Nor to replace my HP unless it's really not quite workable or really out of model... I simply don't see why the extra HP with me?
And when I 1st started having HP in the past, I kept losing them.. Then I thought of doing security PIN lock on my HP so that even if people steal it from me or pick it up, they cannot use it... Until I realise that I can simply unlock the PIN but paying the service fee.. No document check or anything required.. Just say it's a gift from friend can liao?
