I was told off by a student's dad just because I did not call him personally to tell him that i changed the tuition time. I only informed his son the time changes & I did not call his hp to update him as I was very busy. So he is not happy with me for this. He also not happy with me because I was late once! He talked to me in a farking demanding way as though I am his son! Go to hell, ANDREW FARKER!

As much as I can understand that you feel a deep sense of injustice (I'm a tutor myself, and I've dealt with unreasonable parents as well), you have got to watch that temper of yours. Hurling profanities at the tuition kid's dad online isn't going to change the way he thinks of you, and he may very well end up taking legal action against you if he finds out.
No point being a tutor if you can't maintain a reasonable degree of patience, methinks.
If you want to continue teaching your student then you're just going to have to put up with his dad. Just apologise nicely to him and say that you won't do it again. Remember that he's the one who's paying you the money and can simply sack you at a moment's notice. If you want him to continue employing you as his son's tutor, then you just have to suck it up and bear with him.
I know it sucks, but that's the way it is. I've also had to deal with totally unreasonable parents who make outrageous demands of me.
I'm not asking you to like that your student's father's attitude; I'm just asking you to put up with it. -

pleeeease for goodness sake.. just feel their pressures they're getting from parents, from student's results and from student's attitudes... u think they're having it easy? no! it's their profession and if u think they've got no temper to vent, then u r so wrong.
i think u should try tutoring. it's a pretty hard job but rewarding. -

secondly, they're facing the pressures from parents. the parents are either too demanding or too ignorant. so dealing with them is another hard task. but all in all, it's not them that needs to be taught. it's the student. so as a tutor, one has to work on the student.
if the student performs well, their parents' attitude and impressions will eventually change.
it's not easy being a teacher or a tutor. therefore, i respect teachers for all their efforts they put in to teach the best they can to make a difference.
if a tutor doesn't even want to stoop down to a child who doesn't want to learn.. then i think it's better to go find another job instead. because teaching is not JUST a job.. it's a PROFESSION. -

just that i feel that..as a teacher..this kind of students are common..if u get overage with this kind...i think you are not going enjoy ur job very much...

Gwangetto, you have spoken up well for all tutors like me who put in hard work in teaching tuitions & yet, have no thanks from those ungrateful parents. Thanks Gwangetto for your comments against these ignorant people who don't understand how hard it is to withstand the demands of parents, even though the students whom I am teaching now are having good school results.
