they're a pain in the rear sometimes. things can get a little anal when my overly traditionalised mom talkes to me in a naggy fashion about how a girl should take on the role of doing housework, helping her in stuff she assumes to be he duties so she could slack. true enough, she tells my elder sis the exact same things but they didn't work out.. her wardrobe is what i call a preppy roadshow.. i'm not all out to criticize my mom's dress sense but comparing with my own clothes, it's a drastic difference. hers consists of almost 90% floral desgined linen that are more like overalls & most of them actually hangs all the way down till her knees. i couldn't help it but to express my disagreement but here she is, trying to convince me that i should wear the same as what she does. wtf man.. like come on.. which teenage girl would wear this kind of stuff.
luckily my dad doesn't have much control over me. but when he does, things can get pretty ugly cause he's quite persistant in achieving what he wants & rarely gives in..
i'm literally living in hell...

asian parents generally are more conservative and backwards in their minds.......but that's not a problem to me.....as long as i get to see another day......hehe think of it that way and life would be much better i guess

Well,
If you really feel very bothered by the way they asked you to dress or so, talk to them they may be unreasonable, but its all for your own good, maybe you could get a adult to talk to your parents, remember every parents love their children and hope for the best for them. DO not fire up an argurment=)
