if you feel kind of out of place when your frenz care more on their family more then friends. then try to get into their perspective.
go for cooking classes, there the people are like minded singles, at least some of them, but most will be aunties, unless you take up those a bit high standard cooking class, then you will get to meet more females around your age.
from there, then roughly you will slowly get to understand why your friends cancel their appts last min or so, if you can't beat them, join them!
