What reasons should I give?

  haiz....... for my project, I'm supposed to help my partner to collect survey data for the project but I didnt.
  
  Then the prof email me and ask me if I helped my partner to collect survey data.
  
  Wat reasons to giv for not helping ah?

  We are different year students.

  You should perform your job even if you are on attachment.

  If you couldn't do it, the least you could do is tell him earlier that you can't do it due to your attachment but you will do another part of the project
