last year , i took o levels and ended up in singapore poly , diploma in int design .
buy 1 acer aspire laptop ( outside school ( $ 2690)
plus all the warrenty for 3 year ( $ 399 )
new clothes ($ 200)
new shoes ( $ 79 )
shool fee for 1 semester ( approximately $1200)
I am sick of this course in abt 1 month time , flunked all my modules ( CADP , INTECH , TOD , DS ) and no interest in my subject .
I planing to withdraw cos If i have to transfer course , I have to wait for a long time . I also waste all my money on my laptop . It's my mom's fault , I never ask her buy , she buy de . I told her buy only when lecturers told u to .
I am also due for NS le as I from normal academic stream .
Any1 knows the poly rules of applying for course transfer . When can apply ?
I year one nia , noob in sp . my lecturers never reply me yet .
If I continue , I might go mad at least my laptop does not get wasted .
sad this has been bothering me for days ....... I never slept well for many days le .
Tommorow my mom going to have a talk with my lecturers . -

If you feel this is not what should be taking, then I think you should just course and quit wasting time on something you don't wanna study. To transfer to another course you can only do it thru DAE, unfortunely you have to wait till next year.

sounds like my case.. last semester, i skip lecture like nobody business coz i have no interest in it and flunk all the main exams..
now given a second chance and i've found my motivation to work smart.. at least i did not give up.. y should u?
maybe get together in groups then study together.. for me, i now solo-kia.. yes coz i find it hard to communicate with my poly mates.. -

I was in IT last year, had a heck care attitude in that course. No interest in it, going there everyday to do those module was a torture. As a result flunk my sem 2 exams. Then I transfered to Digital Media Design thru DAE this year, at least I like it more than IT even though more work was involved than a slack life in IT.

Hey, you might wanna try applying for the year end intake. Mostly year-end intakes are for ITE students and foreign students. But largely limited to Engineering courses only.

THe choices by course are done by you of course,
Its because you are lazy,
or spineless.
Cause if u don't like a course you should appeal or even transfer before the start of the course,
U should know what to begin with already.
But u didn't do anything.
So its your own problem...
The only advice for u is just ride the course out,
or If you really can't cope with it, quit the course,
don let SP drop u out, cause you will lose the Govt Grant.
