Inherently, my gripe was about ill definitions of the term 'religious comments', inconsistent enforcement of the two warnings given etc
Its nice to know someone would want to assess my personal character, but I believe them to be irrelevant to the issues at hand. -

My logic doesn't says 'you have to fight it'. I said there're other options available sometimes other than 'fighting it'... Read carefully.... But nonetheless, yes.. You can CHOOSE to 'fight it'. Of course, given that it was your own decision... 'Do as the Romans' wasn't really referring to the 'helpness' and 'fighting it' things... It means more to respect the laws and system when you're somewhere... Of course, you can once again choose to 'fight it'. But in this case, it would be more like challenging it...? All depends on your reason(s) for challenging the authority and whether is it truly a meaningful act? And 'meaningful' in what sense? In your own opinion or otherwise...? -

In future definitions will be clear, covering all aspects of it.
No challenge will be accepted since definitions is set.

Another way which you might like to try handling all these would be to go HONEST together with your gf and hope to gain the TRUST and CONFIDENCE of her mum in you... Though this move MAY or may not guarantee results... It's all to your own venture and decision as to which move you'll like to take based on your own judgement on the actual scenerio (we can only advise based on what you've said and have no physical clue to anything)...
