in agony now.
why do school act like they own their student's time..??
for example, when i have fufilled my 6 hr cip a year, why does the sch actually force us to do flag day..?? can they do that? i admit, im black-hearted, i dun wan to help the commiunity, so what? can they force me to go collect money??
even if you did nothing wrong, they hold some special sch thing in the afternoon like return of past yr o level result and expect us students to attend it.....,and take up like till 3:30 on a friday (well that was quite some time back..)...
our sch took part in some band compeition and the sch wasted our whole saturday by making us go to the stadium and support.
and worst of all, it was all compulsory....they say in such a way like, " dun go u get punished..."....
aside from the normal sch hours, why do they have to burden us with all these lame events, that we dun even wanna attend. if it's for remedial, xtra lessons etc, i can understand. but these......
and worst, if you have made plans, appointments, they treat ur private life as "nothing" and still expect u to be punished..
and reason why im so angry? cox sat i got training n i got to miss it due to this stupid flag day thing. now im thinkin of reason not to go....
weekend is already so short, they still wanna make it shorter..damn
I used to think that way too... It's just not fair to make things 'compulsory' for no good reason(s)... Besides, it'll be quite meaningless too...? Anyway, that's just life...
If you can avoid it, by all means... Carry on if you want to...
Last time I've got this group of school mates who basically just keep the flag tins aside and go shopping and movies... When time's up then report back to station....
But since I couldn't avoid it back then too... I thought we might as well go out there as a group of friends and pester people for $$$

and enjoy chatting and walking together at the same time...?
