You also have to take note of those who are with you just because you can provide them with the security and comfort in material sense. These people (regardless of guys or gals) only see the the material benefit (its a realistic world, everybody is trying to "survive" out there) and once you lose that, they will leave you even if you say you are devoted and committed to her alone.
What I think is that: You should focus more about yourself than getting a GF. Do you want to have a partner before you embark on your career? Or do you want to establish yourself first? What you yourself wants is more important than what they want in you.
I believe that when you have decided what you want, things will naturally go your way, regardless of you having a career or not.
One question though: Do you look for a GF purely for the sake of having one? Or are you looking for a partner or soulmate? -

there are girls who will take consideration whether u can take care of her emotionally and financially. Also, there are also girls who wun mind all these..

It's similar for guys too...so don't think guys can escape. When they're young, they wanna look for a girl to go to school and go home together. When they go to poly/univ, they wanna get a pretty gf for dating after school and sex. When they go to army, they wanna get a pretty gf for just plain sex...cos they will be too tired to enjoy anything else except having bookout sex with their gf. When they go univ, most of them will have already been dumped by their gf. They go to univ and bragged about their own army stories and their dreams to pian xiao mei mei...

Ya get a gf before having career and lost her while building your career? Don't let her know how rich you are lah if you scared she wants your money. Or you an act stingy, dont buy her gift, treat her and bring her to hawker. If she still like you then she is not after your money.

i always believe in having a good finance to match what i have.. a good finance means little to no debts. ( irregardless its car loan, housing loan etc)
