I been pondering something about my relationship with a gal i once like and i like to have some advice from people here.
The situation was that i had found myself having positive feelings for this gal about 4-5 years back but had not told her directly that i like her (we knew each other for 6-7 years).
We were good friends since we met and do stuffs with our mutual friends over the years of our friendship. Because i was kind of shy, i didn't really made any effort to pursue our friendship in a positive way. To worsen things, our mutual friends came to know my feelings towards the gal - which resulted in the gal being aware of my feelings indirectly. Since then, our friendship cooled further, probably because both of us didn't tried resolving this.
Fast forward to current - i am bothered by the fact i do not have a good friendship with this gal and i am curently thinking of telling her directly that i once liked her and make an effort to strengthen our friendship. (I miss being a good friend with her)
i thought this move will help as i always felt awkward talking to her. The reason i concluded is due to the fact that i once like her (dont ask me why i will feel this way, it just happen.....).
The problem is that this seems so blatantly stupid - to tell her that i once like her. She got a good relationship with a guy right now which i have no desire to interrupt.
My question to the general was
1. Do i do it or i just let this be (As in let our friendship fade further)?
To the females
2. Does it sound weird/stupid if a guy friend tell u directly he once like you?
Some may wonder if i still like her now to help me... my answer is that i only feel that i once liked her and wish her all the best.
Read my nick. i think i am dumb and really getting dumber

The past is the past.
Now you are asking for her friendship back... so talk about future.

Well if that's the case, there's really no point telling her that you used to like her. Its in the past and doesn't really matter anymore. You don't want to stir things up do you? Since all you want is her as a good friend back..Originally posted by DumberNDumber:Fast forward to current - i am bothered by the fact i do not have a good friendship with this gal and i am curently thinking of telling her directly that i once liked her and make an effort to strengthen our friendship.
