Chicken egg is related to chicken with some c-d-e to e-f-g genes.

Chicken is not related duck with e-f-g to h-i-j.

However, chicken egg is related to duck egg with c-d-e to c-d-h.
Since we know chicken, duck, sparrow, all belongs to the birds species, their genes is somehow the same. However, there is no obvious mutation from their body, all genes mutation are related to the eggs.
So there is a believe the eggs are very similar to other eggs last time.
This question had been reduced to "where did eggs come from" instead.
