Poly problems

poly stress??? no la... better den jc. in poly, u can play all u want, lect can dun listen, tutorial can dun do. but MOST IMPT is to do practical and copy tutorial answer. the impt period that u muZ go is the wk before exam. mostly lecturers will give some tips. juz study the tips and most likely u wun fail.
before i went to poly, alot ppl say poly mate gt alot backstabber and hypocrite. but not really lah.maybe i'm lucky most of my classmate are very true to me. i mean they wun badmouth u or do funny things behind ur back. although some dun contribute on proj, but overall not bad wat. except a few damn LJL always dun come to sch den last min ask to copy report. for me, poly life is one of the best, compared to sec sch. sooooooooo muz cherish the time u hv with ur classmate. if not nx time no chance liao... sad... :cry

1) work hard, let ur classmate slowly gain respect of whatever lj for you lah.
ignore the cb hypo backst
2) change poly
3) fight them!

As for your class,a piece of advice is,u pay your sch fees to study so as to get a dip to show your future employer,hence is it gd to get a better grades or poor grades?Just think of this reason to work hard.
It a good chance to learn to adapt in an enviroment ,when u step into the working life,trust me ,there a more backstabbers,etc. -

i did 2 mths of poly and stopped-going jc next year.
since u already did the one yr, just continue, or chg course if really bth.
or just grit ur teeth and hold on.
ONE YEAR LEH.

Most of you may set to think that failing modules in Polytechnic is not a big deal and that students can always repeat the module the next semester.
Just to share to you what I have seen in my own eyes when I was in poly. I sincerely hope that those who think that failing modules isnt a big deal to reconsider this thought again. I have friends whom have failed one or two modules during their course of study in poly. They thought that it was of no big deal but only to realise that they have in fact ruined many great job opportunities on the way too that could have been offered to them only if they didnt fail any modules.
I am not here to demoralise those who have modules failed but my intention is to bring out the reality. Sorcing good grades not only helps you in your future higher education pursue but also grooms you future. Dont you want to have a good family and sustainable income to live a comfortable life? Althought Singapore do grant credentials to private university like SIM with its private degree courses from UOL & RMIT, the problem remains that how much does the employer values this certificate as? Will you be ended up walking a big round but yet achieve nothing?
Nothing is too late if you want to change it RIGHT now... the decision is yours and do make good use of it. Good chance rarely comes twice.
