Hello everyone. I feel that this little problem is going affect my girl and I greatly in time to come. Just wondering what can I actually do.
My girl and I has been together for like a month plus. She has been though quite a few failed relationships which has affected her way of thinking towards love.
She said she took the courage to get into this relationship because she feels that we will last. However, as time pass, she continues to have fears about promises by guys. This has always result in a low mood between both of us.
What's more ''interesting'' is that she doesn't really trust my ex who is also her friend. And an ex of her is still waiting for her for about 3 years and still waiting.
Basically this fear thinking of hers is eating into our relationship.
I feel lost. I don't want to lose her, I tried means to address her fears but still the cycle repeats. -
dun gif her promises yet since she said she is not very comfortable with it. slowly introduce minor minor promises into her.. so dat she can slowly accepts it. cheers.

Yeap, it's will manageable. However her ex of her who still doesn't know that she has a boyfriend, is trying very hard these 3 years just to win back her heart.
My girl doesn't want to hurt him by telling him this. I am seriously lost. -

For my ex, it's not much of a problem anymore. She understands and accepts it. As for me, I gave her my assurance.
She had quite a few failed relationships, around 4 I guess and one of which I know was a guy who cheated/neglected on her and surprising, that guy is the one who has been waiting for her. -

For all she knows, she could be paying for that with a price for the stability of her current relationship... She would have to be more focused... Time to drop the past... Though it might not happen so suddenly, but it would probably not happen at all if she's not letting go...
How old was she when she had her 1st relationship? Average span of each relationship she had...?
Tell her that you're not going to set any 'promise' for her... But would let time show her with both your hearts together, the places love can lead you to..... -
