shld i go oct poly intake?

although the courses don't really interest me, I can't bear to go to sch anymore
Im thinking of goin to the poly just to escape sec sch ten during the 3 months I can study for my o lvl then next year i try for the DAE again
what you think? the courses are all eng sch except for 1 IT sch
NOTE: I have taken o lvl in 2005 but now resitting for the 2006 one -

without O lvls how to go poly?
even if you can go, you will definitely suffer when in the course. i have friends whose COP for L1R4 is 25 and he went to SP to study Mechantronics which is not his interests and he dropped out 2 months later. -

most olevel students or alevel students do not want engineering course as their 1st choice, n i see many failed n dropped out before; but there are also many who built their interests n grow in love wif their course too. -

I have a cert liao, but now retaking as sch candidate but I wanna go to a poly so that I can convince my parents to let me leave that hellhole and during the time at poly, I will study for my O lvl -

if u dun do well for 2006 nov olevels, u cannot retake cos i dun think NS can tolerant anyone to retake o for 2nd time.
my advise is still continue to studying in school n do well for olevel. -

den its very simple. tahan and strive hard in secondary school. its only a few months!
you have limited chances for ns deferment, the more times the more troublesome it gets, ive been there.
going to poly now is a complete waste of time, there isn't any difference in what you obtain in the end. going to poly might also distract you from your O lvls. -

for me, i think engineering course has more to offer comparing to IT in term of job prospect even though IT seem to be popular. -

I don't quite get it. You hate secondary school... so you want to escape it by taking your O Levels while taking your diploma course simultaneously?
Seriously... if you do get accepted into a poly... then what's the point of redoing your O Levels? Shouldn't you just focus on getting the diploma then?
The way I see it, you will get the worst of both worlds if you follow through with your plan. You will screw up BOTH your O Level resit AND your poly course. No way on earth can you do well in both of them simultaneously.
It's just a few more months, for goodness' sake. If you can't even handle a few months of secondary school, then I wonder how you're going to handle working life. Give up this plan of yours and focus on excelling your O Levels. -

learn from me!
go take a private diploma and take private o lvls at the same time! no need to suffer in sec school and able to receive a diploma within one year! and continue to poly and graduate with 2 diplomas!
