1. the guy is very emotional/sensitive. he is not shy to show his true feelings. (some guys actually feel pain inside during quarrels but want to put on a brave front)
2. the quarrel is too overbearing till the guy cannot take it (ie the words said are too hurtful)
3. the guy pictures an eventual breakup due to the quarrel and his imagination runs wild, leading to a depressed state -

Guys have Feelings...But Guys have a Masculine mentality in which if he crys...it means hes weak...Or trying to save face... I've seen guys cry because a girl left him or something like that...But to me its nothing...Feel thats its normal...

There are many factors as to what make the guy cries. But it normally (not all da time but commonly...) shows this relationship needs to be reassessed. How serious can it be if a couple quarrel and the guy cries? (Bar the type who are more emotional and sensitive.) -

everytime i see those couples quarrel..
it's always the guy go and coax the girl when the girl is really angry or sad..
but then i have never met a bf who will coax me when he's at fault de leh.. why is it so unfair?
anyway the most drama scene i ever saw was at esplanade.. the empty space where ple practicse break dancing.. by the escalators was one couple.. the guy holding a stalk of rose in his hands and knelt down in front of the gf.. at first i tot.. wow, propose ar?! then i saw the girl's expression, she was fuming mad. She shouted at the bf "why did u lie to me?!!" then i knew.. he was asking for forgiveness.
but then.. i tot the girl was really lucky.. how many sg guys will actually do this? To go on his knees is already very hard liao.. not to mention, in a public place, where people were walking in and out. -
guys are humans too. they feel sad, angry, happy.. when very sad, they also will cry - that should be the norm.
when guys refuse to cry and bottle up everything, its a repression of emotions which will be let out in other ways.. and some ways not healthy. like abusing alcohol. -
im a guy and if i cry it means im really disappointed with the girl for not understanding me, my actions etc

Guys Cry...Its a Norm... But using alcohol to solve problems can be a sign of stupidness and immaturity... LOL
This reminds me of my past when i was 17 or 18 years old...How stupid i was over a girl... But you know time changes everyone...Older we grow...the More mature we get... Like until recently... I learned one lesson...that is to find out a person character b4 going after her... But its these mistakes that teaches us to grow... I am glad it happened than it rather not...Otherwise i would have been stuck being like a kid... Doing mistakes over and over again... People tell me i am stupid...But well it was the past... Guess this is the norm for life...

possible scenarios:
the guy is sensitive. Hurtful remarks will hurt his feelings. The girl is probably too insulting with her words.
the guy is almost facing a mental breakdown. He has too many things going on in his mind until he could not face it anymore.
the guy is really guilty of commiting something sinful. The girl is probably disappointed and angry with him. He confessed emotionally. -
