Almost wants to give up on ambition

  I am so,so, so confused abt wht to do in future.
  
  I'm currently in the process of gettg a Communications degree from NUS & I simply dont know what I want to do in future!!!
  
  I want a job tt allows me to work with/meet celebrities (I'm serious abt this), be it local/regional etc. But I dont know where to start, what to do.
  
  Shld I look up entertainment agencies? Artiste management agencies?
  
  I wanted to venture into celebrity journalism but they ALL want ppl with at least 2 years experience-lah. Gosh, where do I start since most media forms want ppl with experience???
  
  I'm researchg companies that sponsor major entertainment events too..hopefully get to work with those companies.
  
  I'm,like, driven to tears!! Coz I've been tryg to get freelance/internships with all sorts of media forms forever but not successful- coz they want ppl who hve more experience, they want ppl to intern for several months (I cant coz I'm freaking studyg) etc etc.
  
  I almost wanna give up on my dreams of working in the media industry. I may sound flighty, but that has been my ambition & everyone has ambitions.

  A person needs to be carried over, but like the "Energizer" battery, you just have to look in more places for your opportunities.

  what you should do, in school, could be to join the Ridge and gain more contacts and actual experience in media and publishing.
  
  start small, and contacts will come.

  my club is also looking for people to join as photojournalists/publicists.

  my fren was invited to interview Dasmond Koh leh..
  
  then I had to help her design the interview questions.. coz her chinese is not that good.
  
  but then she's also a super big fan of his and they already know each other well.

  On a more serious tone; I believe you should not just do "Celebrity journalism". Journalism is a very complicated and all-rounded job which has many job scopes. Putting all your eggs in one basket might not be a good thing. Start with small companies, get experience on the different job scopes. It makes your resume look nicer.
  
  And - I'm really interested in journalism too. Can I talk to you on MSN? I want to know more about the courses in polytechnics (If you've taken that course then), and the universities. I have perfectly fine hormones, so don't worry.
