Hi. sry if this is in the wrong forum. but kindly just wanna noe is dere any ways to reveal the thief's identity or smth? he has stolen phones from my classmates (he is one of our classmates too) and mp3 player as well. recently, he tagged our class blog. and i have his ip address in hand. although we are not too sure if its him, we wish we can solve this matter as soon as possible. pls do suggest smth

was not quite sure if its him. cuz it might be my fren fooling around de tagboard. cuz he went offline leaving a msg saying the thief admited. and when we went to the tag, he started boasting bout his "acomplishment" then soon he came online and said he was just fooling. so we aint quite sure if he is just joking or he is trying to mislead us.

report to the police and notify handphone shops in the victims area about these models? they should have their IMEI number at home in the phone boxes.

and it is believed that the thief stole my fren's mp3 as well. however, he cant store songs in cuz a usb cable is needed.

u go report police together. the person who commited it sure will be nervous like siao.
maybe will show his horsey leg.
den keep telling the others dat the police taking this case seriously, talking to principal, etc.

den say will forgive him if he admit.

Report to the police lor. It'll be for them to conduct investigations. Thet'll have much more resources than you and therefore easier for them. You can assist in the investigations by letting them know your suspicions etc.......... Your school doesn't wan to o anything for fear of getting adverse publicity which is incidentally wrong. Where there is a criminal offence (in this case theft), everyone has a duty to report to the police. Which school r u from?

on the dae when the hp and MP3 player got lost,did the teacher perform a bag check for each and everyone of u?
