i washed my teacher car yesterday, and he paid me 23bucks for my serivce.
but the problem is, this ODO meter is been reset, but is not done by me, i can tell that he frustrated or something, which really cause me very uneasy. he thought i reset his ODO meter, but seriously i didnt.
what i did what just clean his car and making his car shine.
what can i do to make both party to feel better?

not ODO meter, is his trip B.
i just on his car, to check whether his wing mirror still working in order or not. -
if odometer reset, then the car meter has some big problem. then he should be worried.
Note: Trip meter (A/B 1) and Odometer is different. Odometer is for total mileage.
If Odometer reset = car manufacturer will void his warranty, 2nd, hard to sell off as 2nd hand and he most probably have to scrap if he wants to change car or sell. 3rdly, might VICOM inspection and get in some problem with LTA.
Odometer reset is not caused by some1 washing car. -

in fact, i didnt even touch anything gotta do with his meter, and suddenly his meter kena reset. -

Tripmeter has 2 purposes:
1) to check Fuel Consumption
2) to check distance of trips
he should know his car fuel consumption well enough. If he wants to estimate distance he drives, then can also use www.streetdirectory.com ma.

he can check his service booklet or call up his previous service center, should have record.
Tripmeter dun think can record trip up to 10,000 km. only 1000km max. -
