  But of course. You need not always see a shrink to solve your problem, Thats just another alternative. You could always, Try to let us know. What triggered it? Im sure anyone of us here, especially your friends would love to try to help you. Who knows? Perhaps someone, Might give a different advice?

  See a shrink if you think it justifies it. If you hate rumour mongering among your neighbours, then see if you can find alternatives.
