Anything Can Be Done??

Dear All,
Is there just anything we can do to help those Rape Victims to be back to their normal self and face the society and help in pursue for their happiness?

It is very hard. The rape victims may have traumas and many unhappy memories regarding it. What we can try to do as friends are to offer our company and feels of comfort. Beyond that we may need to seek the help of professionals regarding this, because not many can just get over it simply like that.

As friends, all you can do is to support her. Even in her fallen state.
To bring her out of her misery, is all up to HERSELF. And with the aid of professional counselling.
Sexual violence and victims often suffer psychological, so when they look like they're OK, it may not seem so.
The problem may surface only 10 years later, or longer.
To some, problems doesn't surface immediately.
Only professionals have the tools to help victims path back their thought process and hopefully lead them out of the isolated mindset.

Even so... can you guys and gals feel how painful and helpless to see the victims is suffering like trauma, nightmares, sleepless nights, and etc.... after in incident. I also know we are not experts but is there just anyways which we as an individual can help them out of their nightmares??
All that you've contribute may be around the same but i believe those helpless victims' related will be able to gain something out of the advice.
I do believe also that loves is the best medicine to the victims.
May god show mercy to those befallen on the way and help them up to be a new again. Amen. -

The only way people around can help is limited. None can penetrate to her core state of confusing and suffering. Simply because none could understand.
Nonetheless, continue to support victim.
Love may not be the answer at this moment of time.

Bring that victim to a Psychologist. Prepare for either Benzodiazephine rush or some Electro Shock Therapy.

All we can do is only be by their side. We cannot offer "direct" help unless you think you are superhuman, WHICH we are not. We are ordinary humans, what we can do are limited. BUT as long as we are there for them, there will come better help and hope for them.
