Ahem, that is motivation by fear which can only be considered as last resort. Otherwise, your actions will be a statement to all project members that you are in extremis. Conjoling and giving in can only go so far, and thus you are at the end of your rope. u leader? then just force yr will on others loh since they dont care. U just need to decide what to sell and ask yr grp members they agreed or not. if disagreed why? what are their suggestion? If suggestion is agreeable then accept loh. Then u can say something like if they disagreed speak up now or forever remain in silent. Then u just allocate the roles lah. Why be so accomodating? Trying to increase yr own trouble isit?

Well, as a project leader, you need to motivate and drive the team. Based on what you described, you will probably have to tell your team mates what need to be done, and ensure the tasks are completed.
As for Yiyi, just make it clear that you will listen to her suggestions (and really listen, not say-say), then implement some of her ideas to complement your plan.
Then, it's a matter of delegation.
In other words, be objective about the whole thing. Most importantly, have fun, otherwise, might as well don't do it.

We are discussing on what to sell in our school bazaar..
when ask around..
if everyone's food is sellable.. Yiyi wants to sell fruit salad... then that day Meimei was not around to hold the meeting.. so no choice Qisha gotta hold it... she asked everyone if their's product is sellable.. mostly are fine...except for one.. which was fruit salad... been through so much of doing selling in the bazaar... she told Yiyi what if the fruits go bad n who will buy.. but Yiyi didn't give much response when Qisha asked her if she wants to sell other stuff instead..
Qisha been giving in a lot to Yiyi already... been tolerating her nonsense n dun wish to flare up at her... even apologise to her on the day itself n ask her forgiveness if she had offended her during meeting time... she dun even give a daMn at all.. wad the farK...
Yiyi been giving Qisha lots of problems... that's y Qisha is always kind of reluctant to hold meeting.. but too bad that day Meimei is not around..
At time Yaya likes to find fault with Meimei.. whereas Lily always like to decide things before discussing with the rest of group members..
Another thing is Yaya always like to chat with Nana in malay which no one really understands during discussion time... oh man... really hate it.. what about the rest of group members... hardly we could see the grp ppl will quiet down n listen to each other...
i felt a bit of bad combination...
Mei mei, Qisha = eloquent, have lots of experience in bazaar sales, extrovert
Lily= able to speak well too but shy to do things when needed..
Nana n Yaya = quiet n dare not speak up
Yiyi- always giving attitude even when asked her qns..
before Yiyi come to my group.. she already has problems with her previous group as she don't really speak much... now she told Lily that she felt left out when she's wif her previous grp.. n now she is feeling that now again.. who to blame eh.. she's the tight lipper... dun wanna talk.. how to get to talk.. we cant possibly to be cajoling her to talk what she thinks and what she wants at times...

Try to control your project instead... Set out a few objectives and try to get things as SIMPLE and CLEAR (to yourself) as possible... Distribute the jobs in accordance to who is more suitable to do what... I believe most people can contribute to the project in one form or another.... Only people who fail to contribute at all (or is REALLY contributing VERY TOO little) should be given warning(s) and be considered for being removed from the team... It's almost impossible to expect everyone within a team to contribute the 'same amount', nor is it realistic to expect everyone to 'follow suit' as each is an unique individual... Inappropriately removing a member might just demoralise a team if not strip yourself of manpower only...
As a team leader, try to keep your cool and energy level. The LAST person to be stressed out and messed up should be YOU. Not asking you to be a superhuman, but remember...
Keep things simple. Keep yourself focused. Get things done.
