that's if he even wants to finish his diploma after NS.Originally posted by shade343:\
It can be quite challenging mixing with people 3 years younger than you...and you will feel depress that your old buddies have all graduated with their diplomas and you have yet to receive yours.
Even if u quit school but if u don't change ur mindset and attitude, u might face the same problem when u r working.. u will still feel lonely and cannot handle pressure and choose to quit... and run away from problems... u can't run away from the issue forever...Originally posted by shade343:THIS IS A SAD TRUTH: Majority of students who become out of phase in their course drop out because they cannot take the pressure and loneliness.
eh... the retailing experience i was talking about working in Fairprice. I planning to get a post of Team Leader after i graduate. I am going to develop from there.Originally posted by LazerLordz:Oh boy, you have a lot to learn about the corporate world.
Without this piece of paper, do you think you can rise in the retail business? Or are you merely contented with running a little stall for years (no offence intended)
Just get the damned cert and graduate. If you think school life's tough, wait till you work. Having work experience during your school days is nothing. Your real test is when you have to start earning enough to maintain your own life and your future family.
If it's ambition you lack, please seek motivation from friends who are constantly striving to improve themselves. There are people out there who can't afford to study for a diploma, and here you are whining away.
I'm sorry, but the harsh words are needed. Your complaint is just self-indulgent and it's not going to get you anywhere. You've come so close, just finish the race for goodness' sake.
See? You said "after I graduate". Now that's something good.Originally posted by soggy87:eh... the retailing experience i was talking about working in Fairprice. I planning to get a post of Team Leader after i graduate. I am going to develop from there.
but that not something i am proud of. Cos I am just going to pass the diploma with no flying colour. I also going to stay back for one more semester just to clear one subject. that along with other lousy comment will also be reflected in it.Originally posted by LazerLordz:See? So, I presume you're not going to give up on that diploma now.
It's better than not graduating. Who knows, you might get motivated near the end to pull those socks up.Originally posted by soggy87:but that not something i am proud of. my friends think I am crazy because I am going to repeat one subject. Like I wants to repeat that bloody subject.Originally posted by LazerLordz:It's better than not graduating. Who knows, you might get motivated near the end to pull those socks up.
Life's strange, that's all I can say.
Ah, to heck with them. If it means passing it and moving on, just do it man.Originally posted by soggy87:my friends think I am crazy because I am going to repeat one subject. Like I wants to repeat that bloody subject.

yes I am. I will go to a part time diploma or apply a part time degree if I get my diploma. However it is not going to be engineering courses. I will also look for some sort of sponorship if my future work place has it.Originally posted by Devil1976:So are you going for cert of any form after your NS?
