I have fallen in love with some one of the same sex. And it has been going on for 4 years. Should i seek treatment to cure my homosexuality or continue as it is?Also, should i confess to the person?
Any constructive advice would be deeply appreciated. -
Homosexuality is not a sickness. There is no cure for it.
Regarding you telling your crush, I wouldnt advise that unless you are prepared to lose a friend. But if you have a hunch that he is gay as well then try. It might work out. Who knows. -
I have read some where in a psychology book that homosexuality can be treated with the help of a psychologist.
And also, homosexuality i think is in the genes. When you love someone of the same sex, i dont think you can reverse that fact. Maybe you can test the water on that friend of yours and do it step by step to find out his/her opinion.then, decide on your next step. -

Both girls. I not sure if im reading too much into it or what. But she always hug me when she talks to me and she will also whisper into my ear. i belief almost no one is 'born homo'. almost all animals are born with the natural instinct to mate with the OPPOSITE sex.
perhaps you havent had the chance to date a really cool n handsome, nice, skilled, cultured guy that can be much more satisfying than another gal friend.

psychiatrists are quite useless they dont really give honest in dept practical opinions to you. they mostly sit there n listen to you talk (no drugs for lesbianism either) for $300 a session. they factor in many other considerations intead of just speaking freely of their honest thoughts.

theres no 'treatment', but there're psychiatrist who i think might be pretty useless (imo only), they can only advise you and try to convince you in turnin straight, but at the end of the day you're to decide yourself, what you really want and like..
just give yourself time and think what you really are.
no hurry to label yourself (as st8, bi, or gay)
also, theres nothin wrong being gay
as for your crush, just ask her if she prefers guy or gals (you 2 are close friends right? shld be easier to ask) sometimes it's hard to tell so, just ask. see whats her reaction
