hmm you have to admit.. education is pretty important nowadays. People judge you by your achievements regardless of how great you are as a person. In my opinion, that is really superficial. But society is superficial.. and girls are materialistic. Most likely the majority of girls would like their boyfriends to buy nice things for them. Boyfriends are somewhat like accessories for some girls.. to boast about in front of her friends.
But seriously, if your girlfriend loves you for who you are.. she will never put you down in front of her friends, in front of anyone and most importantly respect you. It wouldn't matter how accomplished you are.
If she can't accept that then I think you should break up with her. No one should ever put anyone down. Education doesn't make you a better person or a person with more character than anyone else. For all you know.. the smartest guy could have a crap personality.

I'm still waiting for threadstarter to tell us what happened, that he need to apologise.
He can post whatever he wants here, about his low education etc. Have you guys ever realize that it is just one part of the story? Who knows, he might have done something really wrong, and not the gf picking on him bcos he is inferior in terms of his qualifications. -

But no one has the right to put someone down like that, especially in a loving relationship. This is a relationship not meant to be. This girl either doesn't like him as much as before or this is her true character or both. He is sick of her princess behaviour.
When someone looks down on you because of your qualifications, you avoid her/him. Uh-uh. No good.

I think it more on how you think abt yourself. Even if your educational level is low, you can still crave out a nice career yourself but if you fark care everything and ppl look down on you, den you can only blame yourself.
