Troubled..Can't stop tinking of her

Recently, I got to know this gal from my office better through work, though we were colleagues for more than a year now. Somehow, I have slowly developed a liking for her but I have my fair share of doubts whether this will lead to anywhere...
She is 2 years older than me, at 32 ; first impression of her is one who is immaculate, pretty and well-educated (she's holding masters degree). Understand from my colleagues and through my own observation is that she can be quite stubborn in her own ways and has high expectations of the things she does etc.. One may think she is one stereo-type Singapore gal with high expectations of life and life partner as well...Though she can still be quite easy to get along with. She is a Christian who probably holds a strong belief in her faith and prefer to date a believer also...
I know that office romance can be quite tricky and not easy to handle. I am also not sure whether she feels anything for me, but I am trying hard to control my feelings more so than ever....frankly, my rational mind tells me that she is not the ideal kind of gal for me, but my heart refuse to go in tandem.
I guess its troubling me now and I really hope this does not affect my concentration in work...maybe I should just distance myself from her (quite hard cos we are in the same team etc...)
I just need to get this off my heart though hope to hear some advice here.... -
yeah, office love could get tricky, so the best way is to try to know her much better thru casually talking to her and maybe do some company projects with her?

Try to grab every opportunity to get to know her better. Go for lunch together, and go knock off work together, if possible. Jio her out on weekends. Try not to "tackle" her during office hours, because its a bit distracting.

it seems more of weaknesses than strengths that she has..
so which part of her attracts you? -

Thanks for your reply, but I guess I am not in a position to judge her weaknesses as no one is perfect. In this case, I have doubts about the compatibility of us in terms of the 'situational factors', but I guess sometimes there is no particular reason(s) why you like a person......Originally posted by browniebaobao:im puzzled..

No problem in trying to know her better, but I would rather suggets you don't get in too deep... You will never know if you dun try right. Since both of you are not young anymore, if you are looking for a long term partner. I say, just go for it man!

As you are 30 now, I am sure you are alot more mature than many of us (mee included) here. So I believe you can restrain yourself from certain impulses and moments of recklessness.
If I am in your shoes, I would try to know her more as friends. Once I see what character is she then I can decide my next move.
Next move: know her even more, advance to date her, leave her alone. -
