Ok. well. I have short genes, in fact very. My dad used to be 163-164cm and now he shrunk due to old age and stuff now 160. i heard his height is quite ok because generation by generation the average height will increase due to increased nutrition, sanitation etc...; im quite abit (4cm is pretty obvious) taller than him now. but i think 160+ for new generation is really short.... at least dats what i feel. even now P6 boys (some of them taller ones) are taller than me already. i feel very deprived..
ok. i do play sports. not basketball or whatever "can grow tall" sports. it's badminton. i play it quite often so im quite fit and well excercised and manage by napfa without problems...anyway, pple say shorter pple have better stamina.
im tryin to eat more now. i eat double lunch and double dinner. i excercise alot so it won't really affect my weight.
some pple. dun do anything, also grow tall or acceptable height...really really unfair world...
Ok... time for shock therapy.
Let's be brutally frank here: I see that you're not really listening to us.
We keep telling you that there are people out there shorter than you, but are accepting of it. We keep telling you that you still have a few more growing years. We keep telling you that height is not everything. We keep telling you that 164 cm is not that short for your age.
And yet you refuse to listen to us and continue to whine about your perceived problem. So what do you want us to do, huh? Tell all tall people in the whole world to stay away from you?
I already told you: I was 166cm when I was your age. Not much different than you, huh? I stopped growing at 170cm. Yet to me it's not an issue at all. As for you, you said that you still won't really like it if you hit 170cm. What's the beef? Will the world end for you if you're not tall?
And yes, my cousin who's in Sec 1 is taller than I am. Somehow, I don't feel deprived. I also have shortness genes in my family. My grandmother is just 130cm tall. My dad is 163cm tall. You don't see me complaining, do you?
You have a choice:
1. Whine about it and remain short - and with a forever negative and pessimistic outlook in life.
2. Be accepting of it and still remain short - but with a more positive outlook in life and greater self-confidence.
Your life. Your choice.
