Do you believe in a god?

Its a really sensitive issue I know...but its the kinda question we all ponder and often lay awake thinking about.
Personally, I feel when we die, we die-- No heaven, no hell, no god ('cept Bill Shankly is close to being godly
).
Sometimes I feel God is somethng humans invented to feel better of themselves, something invented as a crutch to help deal with the fact that life is temporary.
However if religion does makes a person better, then Im all for it
Any thoughts?

Yes, I BELIEVE there's GOD. And I'm a FREE-THINKER. Enough said. I think your question, intention and answer are INNOCENT enough. But sometimes it's NOT life which is the COMPLICATED SUBJECT. It's HUMAN.

As I mentioned in my eariler post, I have absolutely no problems with people who "believe". But since I was 10 years old( when my grandad passed away) I made the equation that I was born.ergo I have to die...and there's no way back from that one. I come to terms with mortality long ago, and once you do that, there is no need for "god" or "gods". Anyway, looking into the void now, humans grew to know; that we not the center of the universe,the sun doesnt revolve around us, the Earth isnt flat...so even if there is no god(a speculation), it shouldnt come across as a major susprise.
I agree 100% with what you said, that "its not life which is the complicated subject.its human". The sad part is that most people fail to see this point and that gives power hungry b@stards the chance to use religion as a excuse to stock up hatred on both sides.

I express admiration for your form of mentality till now. I AGREE with your belief that MOST of the forumites in here have the level of mentality to handle this TOPIC. When I told you that it's not life which is the complicated subject but human. I was also trying to relate to you ANOTHER MESSAGE. That is THOUGH your INTENTION might be GENUINE and INNOCENT. People discussing on your TOPIC might not THINK in the SAME LINE of MENTALITY. Personally, I VIEW 'Aunt Agony' as a HEALING ground for some... If forumites in here have the level of maturity to handle such topics...they will have the ability to analyze whatever is written here (regardless of WHO WROTE the MESSAGE and WITH what INTENT)...cough, sorry for shouting.

I know you can understand my INTENTION? Thanks... There's no way you can delete this topic unless this forum is set up or own by you. As long as we end this thing before any flame arise, I see NO PROBLEM to that? 
By the way, I know people have this MENTALITY that using of CAPS are SHOUTING. Thanks so much to that form of mentality. My CAPS are used to EMPHASIZE on certain points. And if you stay here LONG enough, you'll realise there're ALOT of people who like to pick on your words. nowadays, believing is like going to the supermarket. u find things u like and u dont like. if u believe for what it's shown to u, then u'll buy it, right? even tough later u get the bad or expired, etc goods. In the case of believing God, there's no money back guarantee, just take it or leave it.. just as simple as that..

I for one believe in God!! The Nameless One. Yahweh!! Why I believed Him? I have been touched by Him, that's why!! i was an ITE student. I never studied & when my exams came, I prayed to Him that if He truly exists He will bless me. And that was even before I was saved!! And, SURPRISINGLY, I passed with colors!! Impossible some might say. I thought so, too...But that is just God.
