Going for a older female.

  Is it alright to go for a girl like, 4 years older then me??
  alot of my friends say it wont work or it will be very short term...
  im so confused...

  technically speaking, there's age is not a barrier to a wonderful relationship. Whats important is, how you feel towards each other, can both you relate to each other, eg...
  
  but bear in mind, you'll may face social pressure or family pressure as a result but these can be overcome. Whats most important is how both of you feel. Society has by and large became more receptive to older women, younger men. So, if you love her and she love you, why not.

  It is better. Now i have a gf who's older than me by 2 years. Going strong after 6 months. And i dun believe if u have a gf who's older than u, will be short-lived. most importantly, trust each other.

  Nothing wrong and I have seen quite a number of marriages where the female is 4-6yrs older than the guy

  Who cares if it's short term, just enjoy the relationship. If and when it gets serious then worry about telling family.

  As long as you are happy, why do you need your friend's approval for? If you think you can't withstand the pressure from your friend then don't go further as it's going to affect your relationship down the track and you're only going to hurt the girl.
