I'm 20,and want to find the love of my life and settle down........the trouble is i've been hurt so much in the past by men that i'm too scared to really fully trust another guy.i know not all guys are bad.....but i can't help not completely trusting men,even though i try. how am i supposed to open up and let the love of my life into my heart when i do find him.....if i can't stop feeling like he's just gonna cheat on me,or hurt me??

Trust, once broken is hard to come back. All u can do is to take things at 1 time. Like a baby who has to learn to crawl, eat, walk, u have to take small but firm steps to trust LOVE again.
Keep your options open, get to know more of the opposite sex, but do not plunge into a guy straight away if u like him. Take ur time to know him.
Hopefully one day, you can find the guy who will be true and love u as much as anyone possibly could. -

i know most singaporean guys are very nice,but as i said,i find it very hard to trust any man,no matter how much i want to.i trust them when it comes to friendships...but anything more,and i cant help feeling like they'll just lie and cheat.i hate it.it's the worst feeling ever.i'd hate to think that i might miss out on the chance to be happy because i'm being too self protective to let anyone in.

strangely... i keep getting myself tangled with girls with ultra bad intentions... i'm starting to question the principles which i based my life on. Should I be cynical or still keep being myself... always trusting and always treating people with respect?
guess i'll still be myself... that's what make me what i am now. But that also means i'll have to learn the hard way every single time. -

Learn from your past relationships not to make the same mistakes again. Step by step, step out of there false comfort zone. Time, love from others and the right guy will heal your heart. Probably,you could try to make a note of the kind of guys that you tend to attract to. Subconsciously or consciously we tend to be attracted to a certain group of people with certain simiar characteristic. -

ya man... i did some very crazy stuff and is often dangerously too trusting... but it was fun sometimes... just gotta pick yourself up and keep looking forward!
