Sec School

I had problems in my secondory school, i was really unhappy there.
1. None of my friends were in the same class as me which made it hard.
2.My class had a lot of students which only got in because of their prowess in sports, which meant i couldnt really get along with them.( I came from a better-known school then all of them, not looking down on them)
3.They all had really bad attitude my class was always in trouble
4.I tried to make conversations with them,however we just couldnt click
5.A lot of unhappy things happened here ...
This is the 2nd part:
I was really lucky my dad was transfered to work overseas, so i went over with him. I was really sad to leave a few of my friends.
Now i am really happy,however my father wants to return back to spore
I dunno what to do
1.I refused to go back to that same secondory school
2.I dont even know who my friends is, my friendship with my friends in spore has almost been all broken,now i am asked to break my closer bonds with my friends here.
3.My sis has created lots of probs for my family, i dont really dare to ask my parents if they can reconsider staying here slightly longer
I need advice on what to do now? -
I think you have to rely on yourself. Me ish same like you. When me ish is Sec, I have very few friends. I kept everything to myself.

I feel really different in this se sch, in my old school i could get along with everyone,however here , i feel i am like too different in character with the rest,nothing in common at all

why not try another secondary school? If not do home study?

Guess it must have been rather hard on you to have to adapt to different environment at such a young age. But you have done it! Nothing is impossible. It just needs a little getting used to.
What problems did your sis create? Care to share? -
won't your studies be affected when u relocate over and comin back again?
if you are independent, Is is possible to convince your parents to let you stay there to complete ur studies and return later? -

As you are growing up and eventually coming out to work, you may find people like that in your work place too. It's just a matter of getting used to your environment, making an effort to accept the people and their behaviour, and learn to work with them. You can't possibly keep changing your job just because you can't get along with the people. In saying that, it doesn't mean that you have to agree with them and to give in to peer pressure.
Of course it's so much nicer to have friends in school and at work, unfortunately it doesn't happen all the time. It's best just focus on the main reason why you are going to school and work for (to study and to practise your skill & hopefully earning a living, respectively). While you are still at school, take the opportunity to pick up skills in interacting with different people which might help you when you join the workforce. I am sure you have plenty of opportunity to find true friends somewhere else.

and juz today, i started toking MORE with my fren. dun be lazy to talk, infact, talk more is good. -

some people juz click with you and some just cannot click no matter how hard you try.. that's life i guess -

althought i am not in the same situation as you, but i got the same problem as you...
the forumies in this forum hsa enlighten me...
so i also want to enlighten others too...
i was also the same. in fact, i got almost no friend... but they does not treat me as stanger thought...
i always got into troble from some of the gangs in my class... and as i say i got almost no friend... no no ones help me...
i am the type of person that hold to my pride alot... so i always 'reply' those gang when they disturb me...
i am always alone, you are still good. got family... my family are enemies to me... i always qurrel with my parents and fight with my sibling...
so dont be sad or think that you got no other road to walk. jus bear with it... study hard, walk throught it...
eventually one day, someone will recognise you... yup i am still waiting for that day...
but, i have lot of friend in this forum! everyone is so friendly. so visit here more -

I also find it hard to speak to gals of my race(no probs when speaking to malay girls, strange.
)Some chinese girls when you keep talking to them , they will find you a nuisance. That's keeping me back. Im afraid of talking to chinese girls because i fear that they find me a nuisance.
Ok back to TS. You forget about your teacher's i think. Since your family and friends cant help you/make you happy, try to talk to your teachers. Im sure they will be glad to hear your thoughts, and make you feel better. If not, why not try talking to your school counceller?
If you dont feel like going back to your previous school, i suggest you try talking to your parents about wanting to transfer school. Again, if they cant help you, try talking to your teachers.

Tell ur parents about ur worries.Maybe they will help u transfer to another school?Otherwise..you can make frens or mantain contacts with frens from other classes or from ur cca.Making new frens in sec schl doesn't mean u lose ur old frens overseas.write letter?msn?

im in poly. and almost every semester i have a new class. so do all my other friends. we learn to adapt and make new friends.
maybe u can talk to your friends about your experenice stuyding overseas. -
