keep in mind that NEVER BUY unless theres a need to, with that you normally will realised nothing around is really worth buying....and you pay only for the bare essentials. Only give yourself a treat once in a bluemoon, like bonus day or birthday or some anniversary, to buy something nice for yourself.

credit card can hv... coz there's some savings sometimes.. but must got discipline...
park ur spare $$ in the stock market but right stock at the right time pls... (bear in mind that u can't sell the stock FOREVER)
a portion goes to insurance for wealth protection....
a portion goes to online savings eg. standard chartered e-savings...

I was almost like you.. Until I decided not to spend on what I really doesn't need to... Or at least spend within what I'm comfortable with... Like set a budget or something? -

hence wen i go shopping, bring my friends along who can control or whack me if i overspend -

best way to keep yourself occupied and not think of spending $$ -
bring a limited amount of $$$ out with you.
and dont bring credit card out.
or bring someone out with you.
someone who will HELP you to control the amount you spend. -
