after much discussion with another friend about confessions. I feel that confessions do not make things any better in the early stage. You should date her out and see how things go before making any drastic actions.

as in just tell her that he loves her, but not expecting anything from her.

but truth is, in real life, you'll still have to face her, and your best friend.... things may be awkward.
but if he's not your BEST friend, considering that they are not married.... u have your right to confess your feelings to her and let her choose.... but that is if you do not value the friendship with the guy....
