my mom flares at very trivial stuffs

my mom works every alternate days. the moment when she comes home from work, her face is totally black and scolds us for very minor thing.
her favourite is to curse my younger sis and I that it will be best if we die off sooner.
we did not even provoke her or mess up the house or do anything deem not sensible.
but y is she behaving like this ?
is it normal for a mom to curse her children to die faster ?

looks like your mom finds you burdensome....i reckon the need to support you is making her stressed....you didn't mention a dad, is he in the picture?.....as parents sometimes we feel the weight of the children's need...you should study hard and get good grades and make her proud...hopefully she realises she's going to reap what she is sowing now, which is having grown up children who will not care about her.............

very selom i will c my mom in a good mood, she acts as though this family brings her a lot of trouble and stress.
but the fact is that we behave most of the times.
she likes to say things like "oh , i wish death would come to me"
for the past years, she has been like this. even though my grandmother and her has beliefs in a japanese buddism for the past 20 years and has been chanting a lot for good faith and change in karma, things still remain as it is. -

I graduated with a diploma half a year ago and i'm supporting myself right now. so financially and mentally, not adding to her load anymore. my dad will fetch her from work most of the times so isn't that good enough ?

Could it be she has a very bad superior.I cannot really suggest much, coz me and my mom also bad r/s. But err...maybe avoid her lor. Since she irritated by the sight of u = better to hide before kena yell at.

you are working, well that's strange about your mom then...i thought you were still young and in school...try this, on the reason that you're earning your own money now, you'll like to buy your mom something nice and take her along for shopping or simply bring the family out for a dinner at a nice place...see how she reacts, if all things fail then i think your mom will have to reflect upon herself.... what does your father say about her?

and chances are very high that children will live longer than their parents!
anyway, just keep your cool. Either treat her well as usual if you have a big heart. If not just keep quiet and ignore her ramblings. Your mom is always going to be one of your closest person in life. And be a pillar of support for your younger sis! -

could be she is feeling something missing in life...she is 'tired' of the lifestyle she has now...and maybe don't know how to go about changing it....seriously if you go thru life day in day out same old thing...can get quite sick....

yup like what was suggested here...give her a nice surprise to touch her heart maybe?? it could melt her tired and wear out heart...i think...
maybe when before she comes home....make a cup of drink she likes and put on the table for her? tell her the things you have already done maybe?? eg...oh mum i have already change the bedsheet today....hope u like this one i have put on for u?? just a suggestion...something like that??

If suddenly, need to see a doctor.
Mabe a tumor somewhere, or high blood pressure or something, best see a GP.
If always like that, need to see a psychiatrist.
Personality disorder, or frontal lobe disorder, or brain chemistry haywire.
Whatever, professional help needed. Disorder is controllable. -

given the benefit of doubt i assume that you and your sis give your mum due respect and all. your mum might be cursing your sis maybe because she was an accidental child?
than again maybe your mum has to face "sh!t" at work everyday and has to face more "sh!t" when she comes home such as cooking for the family, doing the housework, etc. and life goes on and on as a routine for her. or maybe she's just fustrated thinking why hasn't the good karma come yet? or maybe it could be some weird reasons tts running through her mind that we might not know? since the age gap between you and her are pretty big.
and judging from your financial status, your dad fetches your mum from work ( i assume your dad owns a car ). i assume its going on fine and furthermore with you supporting yourself. just take time off to talk to her and ask her if she's facing any problem at work or perhaps talk to your granny! well.. as the saying goes, mother knows best!
