Apply strong antiperspirant before you go out, you'll be ok.
Excessive sweating, aka hyperhidrosis can be caused by obesity (that you mentioned you rather spend $$ on food, and you gained 20kg?), environmental temp, excercise, spicy food, emotional situation, and sometimes hormonal imbalance and few other reasons.
However if you find yourself sweating excessively even when not exposed to heat, or not doing any physical strenous activity, I suggest you should go to see a doctor, you can be suffereing from overactive thyroid glands.

veri true , the more u gain muscles, the more healthier looking ur, plus u don't sweat easily too.
i myself think its because i'm not doing enough exercises nowadays (i read somewhere that exercising regularly wont make you sweat so much)
and another reason is, i've gained a hellava weight ( i've gained about 20 KG in the past 2 years)
