How to remember names??

  Hi all, I have a rather serious problem of not remembering ppl names even after i knew them for 3 to 4 weeks!!! I can remember their faces but I cant remember their names. Ppl may feel that I am insincere in making frens wif them but I am NOT!!!!! So guys out there any bright ideas??? Thanks

  Everytime you meet somebody new, try slapping them.

  But i ever heard from someone that guys is good in remembering name.

  If you really don't remember, just be honest and ask them again. The chance is that they are not likely to remember your name either.
  
  Just ask politely like this: "Hi, We met last week. What's your name again? Sorry, I am not very good at remembering names..."
  
  After you found out the person's name, try to use his/her name a few times when speaking to him/her. Eg the person is Tom, instead of saying - "So where do you live?", you can say "So where do you live, Tom?". Of course you don't use his name in every sentence but try to include the name as often as you can (without getting ridiculous) and hopefully by the end of the conversation you will remember his name.

  Honeymouse has a way for you to attempt to remember names again. I too have the same problem with you which I have used a way suitable for me to remedy:
  
  Everytime a new person is introduced to me, I either take heart to remember it or write the name down in some note or handphone.

  On da contrary, chiobu I tend to forget rather easily... You noe y rite...?

  Thanks pal! Will try it out.....It seems to mi ladies seem to be more offended when u 4get their names....they will show u black black faces even when u apologize 4 forgetting their names....

  ask him/her how to spell his name...then enter it into your phone...
  if he/she ask you why u do that...just tell them u are bad at remembering names...so at least they can tell u are not purposely forgetting them...

  play with their names:
  
  eg, sally. sounds like salad. so u think of her face and infuse her face into a vegi leave or smth like tat.
  
  another one maybe tom? tom is like tom and jerry? den u imagine him painted black and white like that tom and jerry cat.

  for me its the opposite, i remember names, but i dont remember faces. everyone looked about the same to me. yikes.

  I meant CHIOBUs belongs to the ones which you would drop their names and contact in your HP....
