Pros and Cons of each Uni

  I'm a poly student, taking my exams now. After exams will be the graduation and afterwhich going for NS soon. Going for NS will probably be this year.
  
  After NS, i have yet to consider which Uni i should go to.
  
  I'm currently taking Diploma in Business Information Technology, and i wish to major in economics. Please advise the pros and cons of each uni, as well as the GPA to get in.

  My suggestion for u, based on ur GPA, is to go 4 SIM-UOL courses. Realistically speaking, u will probably not be able 2 go NUS/NTU/SMU, unless u are good, and I mean really good in ur CCA.

  2.8 is almost impossible. u can try ur luck. perhaps u may get lucky. but u may like to spend more time looking at the private uni instead.

  ahh...but no harm applying though right?
  
  Just apply...but dont pin too high hopes...and at the same time after NS, you can try to apply private and can do part-time if you wish when you found work.

  Don't come UOL
  Very tough
  You will study until every night dreaming of you ,yourself doing accounts and the examiner smiling at you.

  GPA of 2.8 can get into UNSW-Asia I believe.
  1 dude got in with that kinda grades with 2 yrs exemptions.
  
  SMU, maybe have good chance if U going for IT and can good SAT of 2000 and up. The rest is up to your interview.
